Ziggy Takes out the Trash by Elizabeth Thomas
watercolor, india ink, procionmxdye, silver foil; 7×11inches
My mom was an artist passed away 10 years ago from breast cancer and I inherited her art desk, sitting unused until this year when I decided to start making art as a way to honor and remember her. I'm just starting so trying to find my style and media - this was a great piece where I got to play with a lot of different materials, practice, and listen to David Bowie.
