Brittany Fisher

Brittany Fisher is a self-taught mixed media artist based in Durham, North Carolina. Working across traditional and digital mediums, Brittany creates vibrant, expressive works that explore new ideas through experimentation with materials, texture, and composition. Her studio practice primarily incorporates acrylic paint, oil pastels, and mixed media on canvas, while her digital practice utilizes Adobe Fresco to develop original designs for prints, apparel, and other merchandise.

Brittany’s professional art practice includes commissioned works for private collectors in Atlanta, Georgia, and Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as participation in group exhibitions throughout the Triangle. Her work has been exhibited at Co-Lab in Raleigh, Peel Gallery in Carrboro, and the Durham Art Guild. In 2025, she was also a featured artist in the Living in Color exhibition presented as part of the Raleigh Art and Film Festival.

As an emerging artist, Brittany is committed to continually challenging and expanding her creative practice. She is excited to join the Durham Art Guild’s Artist Residency program as an opportunity to explore new concepts, experiment with unfamiliar mediums, and further develop her artistic voice within a community of fellow creatives.
