The Guild has existed in service to local artists for 78 Years! To honor our legacy and invest in the future, we invite you to join The 78 , a community of monthly donors dedicated to keeping Durham’s creative spirit alive. With a goal of one sustainer for every year of our impact, members of The 78 play a vital role in ensuring artists always have access to space and the support they need.

Join our monthly sustainers and support the meaningful programming that speaks to you.

  • Scholarship Supporter

    This donation can cover a membership scholarship for one local community artist to engage with DAG’s Resources and opportunities

  • Gallery Supporter

    This donation can support DAG’s efforts to exhibit meaningful art by regional artists to our community and maintain a free, welcoming space to view original artworks.

  • Resident Artist Supporter

    This donation can cover the overhead for one artist in residence program studio space for six months.

  • Youth Mentorship Supporter

    This donation can cover a supply budget for one student-mentor pair in the creative mentorship program so they can create and grow together.

The Durham Art Guild relies on individual and corporate donations, grants and fundraising events to support our annual operations and to fulfill our mission each year.

Stock Options: We are also able to accept donations of stock if that is something that you are interested in coordinating with us. When you donate long-term publicly traded stock to DAG, you’ll generally take a tax deduction for the full fair market value. Please consult your advisor about how the tax rules apply to your contribution.
