My work is informed by imagined narratives as well as observations from everyday life. The submitted work is an example of my explorations of the emotional cycles of challenge and resilience, intertwined with self-love and personal growth. I believe that to feel fully expressive and alive, I must meet both internal and external challenges with compassion for myself and others. I have felt how this practice strengthens my resilience and deepens my capacity to experience diverse emotions and ideas. Drawing is central to my creative process and serves as the foundation for developing and communicating this ideal. I begin with sketches and refined drawings, then combine them with layers of color using colored pencil, watercolor, and digital collage.
