I Made Tea (No. 3) by Barbara Cameron
Cotton fabrics, ink, tea, cotton batting, cotton threads; 22×21 inches
"I Made Tea" is a series of quilts about taking care of my mother during her last year of life. No. 3 started with a an unsent letter from me to my mother, which I then cut up and pieced back together. It is sandwiched between a vintage fabric of hers studded with daisies (her favorite flower) and the leftover tea bags of many pots of tea we shared.
