Tina Marcus is an interdisciplinary artist from Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2022, she received a grant from the United Arts Council Raleigh/Wake County to embark on making life-sized sculptural figures from corrugated cardboard she calls “Pulp People.” Prior to creating her sculptures and mixed-medium "Soul-Selfie" assemblages, her career was in education where she co-developed and disseminated the STEM Education Program; a statewide program recognizing STEM Schools of Distinction. Currently, Tina leads the Durham Art Guilds Member Services Committee providing an array of programs for its members and larger community.
Tina’s art has received honors, best in shows and her sculptures have been exhibited at the 21c Museum Hotel in Durham, NC, at Duke University, Bernard Heller Museum, New York City, in galleries in North Carolina and in private and corporate collections.
