Whether you shoot digital, film, or your phone, this class is about learning how to tell a story with a photo.

• Learn to shoot in any location, lighting, or environment. Learn how to use space, props, and context to add meaning to a portrait.
• Breaking the rules, cropping through faces, motion blur, shooting through objects, and letting imperfection work in your favor.
• Expression & natural posing; how to direct people without stiff poses or awkward instructions.
• Experimental techniques projection, reflections, distortion, and creative tools that add visual interest and texture.
